    Hello, im not beeing able to make a backup of my website. The error showed in the log is the following:

    0101.853 (0) Binary zip: error (code: 9 – look it up in the Diagnostics section of the zip manual at https://infozip.sourceforge.net/FAQ.html#error-codes for interpretation… and also check that your hosting account quota is not full)
    0101.856 (0) The attempt to close the zip file returned an error (). List of files we were trying to add follows (check their permissions).

    Do you know how can i fix this?

    Hi,

    To help us work out the cause of your problem, can you please send us a copy of the full backup log?
    This can be found in the UpdraftPlus Existing Backups tab.The contents will be too long to post here directly, but you can use an online service such as Dropbox or Pastebin, and post the link here.

    Kind Regards,

    Bryle

    Thank you for the reply. Here follows the link with both the last and the penultimate full backup logs. Both attempts did not succeed.

    the zip code 9 means that the “zipping” was aborted

    So, someone killed the zip process – either manually, or perhaps there is something automated on your server that does that.

    If you’re not sure how to prevent that, then switch to a different zip engine by adding this to your wp-config.php: define(‘UPDRAFTPLUS_NO_BINZIP’, true);

    It does also look like your server is struggling (some of your resumptions are out of order).

    I would recommend reducing your archive split to 100 under Settings >> Show expert settings >> split archives every
