    Hi @mge3,

Can you give us a few more details about your problem?

Do you see any error message?

Can you send us a picture with your problem at: [email protected]?

    Have a nice day!

The same thing is happening to me. I installed this plugin months ago and it has never worked. “Add account” does nothing.

Hello, you most likely have a plugin that is causing this issue. Could you disable all other plugins and try again? Then activate them back one by one and see which one is causing the issue.

    Best regards,
    Marius

I’m having the same issue and have been for quite some time. As you suggested to Ikeels above, I deactivated all plugins except for Tweet Old Post and I still can’t add my Twitter account. I get the spinning wheel and then it sends me to https://abouttruckdriving.com/wp-admin/0 which is a 404 error.

This plugin used to work fine. Not sure when it quit working, but I really miss having it! Hope you can figure this out soon. It hasn’t worked for ages.

FYI: I always keep WordPress updated, so I know that’s not the issue.

I’ve been through that procedure as well. It simply doesn’t work.

I saw another thread that said it was a problem with PHP Curl not being installed on the server. I checked with HostGator and it shows PHP curl is installed, so this isn’t my problem.

Hoping the developer fixes this. He seems to be ignoring some of the other threads dealing with this same problem. I realize it’s free, but this plugin should be pulled if he isn’t going to support it. Hope he doesn’t though, because it was great back when it worked.

I have the same issue. I also have WP-to-Twitter installed, so I wonder if this is the problem. I am not going to disable a working plugin that I really need to enable another plugin that might be useful. When I click the Add Account for Twitter, I get a 404 error. Facebook button gives the setup instructions window and LinkedIn tells me I need the Pro version. Only the Twitter button is bollixed, and that’s the one I need.

    I am using WP4.1.

Wheatdog, that isn’t even remotely the same issue. The symptoms are completely different.

    ?
?We just released a new version yesterday, so in order to help us debug, if you can send a screenshot of the admin would be great ( to know if is the old or new one )
    ?
?A possible issue for the error can be a js error, can you right-click-inspect element-console and let me know if you see a js error ?

Sending more details at friends{at}themeisle.com will also help.

This plugin was working fine before. Now, all my accounts are gone (twitter, facebook, linked in), and when I try to add them back in, I get error messages, such as this one, which goes to FB url https://www.facebook.com/v2.0/dialog/oauth?client_id=&redirect_uri=https://www.humortimes.com/wp-admin/admin.php?page=TweetOldPost&state=6cd2a955d92b214e7a42218e6e99b9bc&scope=publish_stream,publish_actions,manage_pages and says:

    The parameter app_id is required

Attempting to add the Twitter account back in, it goes to a ‘not found’ page on my own site: https://www.humortimes.com/wp-admin/0

It’s a real shame your updates screwed it up. It was working fine.

Jamminjames…not for many of us. It has never worked for me.

    Hello James,

Can you try to reset the plugin (usign the reset button) and try to add the accounts again?
Also, did this error appear after the last update?
If you wish, you can send a mail at [email protected] with login details for the website and we’ll take a look from there and fix the issue.

    Best regards,
    Marius

Your latest update seems to have fixed the problem for me. Thanks!
