Can not add row/widget

    Hi,

    On a completely fresh install of WordPress, using TwentySixteen and ONLY the Page Builder I get the following console error when trying to place a row or a widget.

    No problem opening the modal for rows and widgets, the error only occurs when trying to add.

  • I believe I am having the same or a similar error.

    I cannot now add rows or widgets via the standard “Insert” button.

    I am using the WordPress 4.5 nightly build if that is relevant.

    The same error. I am using WordPress 4.5 nighlty build. Please fix it as soon as possible

    This is working for me now with the update from 3 weeks ago so can be marked resolved as far as I am concerned.

    This had something to do with the new version of Backbone in WordPress 4.5. It’s using a newer version, but not the most up to date version. The version 4.5 is using has a known, and subsequently fixed, Backbone bug.

    We were able to work around this issue though, so Page Builder is WordPress 4.5 compatible.

    We’re seeing this same error, as described by @llemurya above, in the 4.5 version released today.

    What version of Page Builder are you using? We did fix this a few updates ago. The current version is 2.4.4.

    My bad. The theme I am using shipped with an outdated version of Page Builder. Sorry!
