  • I am having a similar problem. After the recent huge update I (angrily!) went into the plugin and updated all of the settings. I added the same slug I used before for the Hide Backend feature but then I could not log into the site. I logged in normally when this feature was switched off though.

    Here’s the weird thing. Once I switched the feature off, I accessed my site via my password manager (as I always do) that uses the same hide backend slug that I had before and I can get into the site as normal.

    Could it be that the slug is actually working as before as that setting was taken from the previous plugin version? And when activating it in the new version an error is created?

    It would be good if this was fixed as I would like the piece of mind knowing that the backend is actually hidden.
