I can not access events settings, expand agenda events, or expand and edit event details, and the links for tickets are no longer working. Disabling all other plugins did not resolve the issues.

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

  • Hi @digitalnordic,

Based on the information you’ve provided, it is likely that this problem is caused by a theme conflict. Test this by switching your WordPress theme to any different theme, such as Twenty Seventeen, and see if the problem recurrs.

    That did not work either.

    Hi @digitalnordic,

The problem where nothing is clickable is caused either by a conflict with the Theme or another plugin, and if not, it may be file corruption in which case you can try reinstalling the plugin.

These instructions will preserve your current events:

    – Perform a complete back up of your database before proceeding further
    – Delete the file uninstall.php from the plugin directory that is currently on the server (found under /wp-content/plugins/all-in-one-event-calendar). Deleting this file ensures that when you uninstall the current version of the plugin, your event data and calendar settings will be preserved when you delete the plugin (don’t skip this step – it’s important!)
    – Deactivate the All-in-One Event Calendar using your WordPress Dashboard.
    – Delete the All-in-One Event Calendar using your WordPress Dashboard.
    – Database -> wp_options, click option_name to sort and delete everything with ai1ec_, this will delete plugin settings but events will remain in the database.
    – Now install the latest version.

If you are unable to see the Settings screen to login to the Timely Network, this is a different problem altogether, and is caused by either outdated PHP, or incomplete installation of PHP on your host.

We recommend that your host run PHP version 5.6 upto version 7.0 (7.1 is unstable at the moment). Other users were able to solve the missing Settings screen problem by switching PHP versions (up or down).

Tried that, but still no change. Also logged out of Timely network on settings page and now can not access form to log back in.

    PHP is version 7.0.22

@digitalnordic please try swiching down a version to 5.6 or recompile PHP.

I tried that as well and still no change.

@digitalnordic, you recompiled PHP? Did you select all the common PHP exensions during installation? Which version did you install?

I am having these exact same issues, and the PHP version is DEFINITELY not our problem. I think you need to file this under major bugs in your plugin as it seems multiple people are encountering the problem.

@kreigd, you are incorrect. This problem is caused by the hosting’s PHP installation. Also, for your problem, please open a separate support ticket.

I have recreated the site in a new (demo) folder on the same server and everything works. I still can not fix the problem on the live site.

    @digitalnordic,

You mentioned you tried my previous suggestion. Did you recompile PHP? Did you select all the common PHP exensions during installation? Which version did you install?

I went back to PHP 5.6. I am currently chatting with my host’s support to see if they can figure it out.

    HI @digitalnordic,

I can also take a look for you. Before I can do that, please open a ticket by clicking on the Get Help link, or click here: https://dashboard.time.ly/account/get-help.
