• Set up with 1 button. Installed files in sub directory. Decided to move blog to root directory. Moved index.php. Did not work. Moved wp-blogheader.php. Changed directory in file. Still didn’ work. Now I can not get access to the files at all. Clicking on domain.com brings up the HostGator C Panel like before. Clicking on domain.com/sub directory brings up blog page with text only, no image, no color. Canthing on this page sends me to HostGator cpanel. Can not get to files through Filezilla. Help Thanks David Everett If you need the domain name let me know.

You’ll have to access your WordPress database via phpMyAdmin (most hosting providers offer this in their control panel) and manually change the siteurl and home values.

When you’re done, follow this guide to move WordPress.
