Can not access Admin

  • Hi,

    Yesterday I was kicked out of my admin and cannot get back in. When I try to log in, I get the following error:

    Warning: Cannot modify header information – headers already sent by (output started at /home/content/p3pnexwpnas13_data02/54/3048254/html/wp-content/themes/mesocolumn/functions.php:428) in /home/content/p3pnexwpnas13_data02/54/3048254/html/wp-includes/pluggable.php on line 1228

    I have read the posts about checking for extra lines or spaces in the functions.php file or to deactivate plug ins. My question is, if I can’t get into the admin, how do I go about testing these solutions?

    You have unexpected whitespace (either a space or an entire line) on line 428 of the /wp-content/themes/mesocolumn/functions.php file. See this guide for specific instructions.

    Alternatively, replacing the file with one from a fresh download may resolve the issue.
