Can no longer tag variable product in Facebook or Instagram, only variations

Since we recently updated WooCommerce Product Feed we can no longer tag a parent variable product in Facebook and Instagram, only each variation individually

Also, which is even worse, all of our previous posts have lost their tags…

Do we need to revert? Or is there a setting somewhere that I haven’t found that will resolve this?
