    The blocking list no longer shows the banned url that the visitor hit that caused the block, nor does it show the referring page or location that they arrived from. This seems like a downgrade to me.

  • Hi @drinxx,

    On the “Tools –> Live Traffic” page you can display the “Activity Detail” for each entry by clicking the icon in the “View” column.

    Is it the information you’re looking for?

    Another user has asked this question in another post, so I will follow their thread in hopes of a solution. Thanks.

    @drinxx,

    The “Activity Detail” contains the following info:

    xxxxxxx left https://********* (URL the visitor arrived from) and was blocked at https://######### (URL the visitor hit that caused the block).

    You’re just not getting what myself and others are saying. That activity detail should just be visible on the live traffic page as it used to be so a user can easily just scroll down the page and see, this person was blocked for doing this, or that person was blocked for doing that. Or by just looking and scrolling down the live traffic page, us users could see if someone was trying to access hidden or non-existent pages that Wordfence wasn’t blocking them for and we could block them manually. That is impossible now because the “Activity Detail” is hidden. It makes the live traffic page completely useless for users that would actively monitor it. This new design makes no sense, functionality-wise.

    @drinxx,

    So if I understand you correctly, what you’re complaining about is that now you have to click on an icon to see that information for each entry.

    Is that correct? If so, please send your remarks to feedback[at]wordfence[dot]com

    Nevermind. Moving on to another plugin for my sites. I am clearly not the only one that is trying to point out flaws in the new design. To say that we are complaining is absurd. We’re trying to be helpful in pointing out critical flaws.

    @drinxx,

    I understand that from your point of view the new UI impacted the usability which is why I asked you to send your suggestions to the email we provided so they can be taken into consideration for future modifications.

    Yes, you are complaining. And that’s OK.

    Feedback (both positive and negative) from users is always valuable however in order to be helpful it has to be constructive; and I don’t feel that remarks containing words like “completely useless” or “new design makes no sense” are constructive.

    Hello!
    There is an option in Live Traffic to “Always display expanded Live Traffic records.” Then you can see the full contents without clicking on each individual Live Traffic Record. That should solve your problem!

    Resolving this case, please start another one if you have additional questions. Thank you!

    Hi @drinxx,

    Please accept my apologies for the very poor choice of words.

    Adapting to a complete new UI is always challenging and can, at times, cause confusion so I totally understand your frustration.

    I hope my colleague’s post helped you solve the problem.
