• Does anyone else have this problem please after upgrading to 6.3?

Our site was using Reusable blocks, which I understand is now renamed as “Synced patterns”, I can see these have all been retained in the “reusable blocks” tab on my menu wp/wp-admin/edit.php?post_type=wp_block.

However, in the Page editor, when I try to add blocks and search for them they are not there. Eg if I search for “/cta” it used to bring up a list of reusable blocks, I would have expected it to bring up list of the synced blocks, but it doesn’t.

How can I fix this please?

My recent test: I created a fresh WordPress site in LocalWP. No plugins, Twenty Twenty Three, WP Version 6.3.1. I created 2 new synced patterns (unicorn + ice-cream) and then inserted them into a different page by typing /unicorn and /ice-cream to add them to the page. I also tried the block search in the left column.

Another test: Site with WP 6.1.1, no plugins, twenty twenty one theme, created a reusable block (what-if)- added to a page and saved. Updated to WP 6.3.1 – searched for what-if block and was able to find it to insert onto page.
