How can I download the earlier version. This one has ruined the ease of backups. We can’t pay $69 for each and every single site to back up. Where can I download the earlier version.

You do not need to pay to backup a site. Backing up a site is free and will be free.
Restoring a backup a free up to 512MB, for larger sites you need Unlimited Extension. You only pay the fee once, not per site.

I recommend you not to use older versions of the plugin as it does not include all of the bug fixes and we will not be able to provide support for it in case something does not work.

Recommendation:
– Install plugin “WP Rollback”
– Dowgrade to version 6.77
– Do not update to new versions

Can I ask why this feature was removed and made an add-on?

What restore methods are included in the core plugin?

I am not sure yet what we will do with Restore option. The next release will improve the text to tell you that you can download a backup and import it from file. In the new version, import from file will be in the plugin but will be limited to whatever the server supports (max_upload_file in php.ini).

I did not know that so many people used the restore option. I added it for convenience but it was never requested by any of our users before. I am also not collecting any data from live installs so I do not know how the users of the plugin are using it. Your feedback and feature requests will help define the plugin

I’ve been migrating a few WordPress websites from one web host to another and your plugin seemed to be the easiest to use tool for the job. I did try a few!

To move the websites, I was creating the Export file with your plugin. Then importing it into the new site after I had installed your plugin.

I still had a couple more sites to migrate and was surprised when I saw the plugin had been changed!

What would be another way to migrate a WP site with your plugin, without importing the file using the plugin?

Please urgently put the RESTORE functionality back at least for 512MB or higher. I was using it many times successfully and always boasted to people about how awesome this plugin is and how it makes my life a hang of allot easier. I will even donate something if this can be done please. Much appreciated and many thanks

I have a development (localhost), staging (private live), and live (public publish) you mean I can pay 69$ and can use it in all and it is unlimited websites regardless?

$69, is this per year?

This is a disgrace. When I bought the unlimited version it was sold as a “Lifetime” purchase. So, now someone figured out how to monetize further and removed the restore-ability.

Nothing work, not even the import – it always sticks on 98% – I have used this plugin for years using the unlimited version.

Stay away from this plugin, find an alternative – This is just another way to monetize from our pain. What a SCAM!
