Can no longer edit photos

Formerly when I inserted photos into posts, the admin included some options about editing them for size, putting borders and offset around them. Suddenly those options have vanished and I must edit in photoshop instead, which is really more work than my pathetic photos really merit. Even my sweet husband says so. I’ve read all the support and lessons and I can’t find my topic in the forums. Anyone in the know about this? Hey thanks for all you do, WordPressers.
