Can no longer edit part of front page

    I can no longer edit part of the front page. I’ve tried everything. The section where it says:

    Song Bird: Great Barrier Reef Rescue
    SONG BIRD SUPERHERO … REEF DEFENDER
    Available as Paperback and Kindle e-book
    Can Song Bird rescue the Great Barrier Reef before it’s too late?
    ORDER NOW direct from the author

    Is COMPLETELY uneditable. It has the little edit icons but they do nothing unlike the edit items on any other sections. Please help. Very annoying. It is just a front page website. Not complex.

    This happened after I updated. No plugins installed. Was working fine up until now. Tried rollback but didn’t work.

    Everything highlighted in that section doesn’t work. Looked through every single option. Nothing works. Can’t even delete it.

    We checked the link you provided along with the image, but we were not able to replicate this issue on our test site with Responsive theme version 4.6.2.

    Can you please share with us the previous version of the theme from which you upgraded to the latest 4.6.2 version?

    Are there any console errors visible on your browser while editing in the customizer?

    Also, your site is currently utilizing which PHP version?

    Thanks for your reply. To answer some of your questions:

    1. I’m unsure the previous theme version. It was likely not updated for 12 mths
    2. No console errors
    3. I updated PHP from 7.0 to 7.4. It made no difference.

    Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. I can edit/change anything on the front page except for the top section described/pictured above. Can I edit this manually somewhere? I am using the free version which should not make any difference. Would be very disappointed if some reason the ability to edit this section is locked under a pay wall for the pro version.

    Fixed the issue myself. Rolled back to Version: 3.14 of the theme. Every version beyond that creates the error.
