Can no longer edit brands

  • Hello –
    I’ve been having an ongoing issue with the links to my brands breaking each day. I now have to use a scheduled action to ‘update’ permalinks, which fixes the issue. Not ideal.

    Now, I can no longer edit the brands. In the YITH plugin menu, clicking on the Brands tab just pulls up an empty page.

    I really desperately need help to fix this. Please advise.

    Ps. Yes, I have tried troubleshooting with a different theme and all other plugins off, and the issue persists.

    Hello Ollie,

    This happens to you only with our plugin? Does it happen to you with other taxonomies? you may not have the appropriate skills to edit brand terms.

    Thank you for your response. Yes, it only happens with your plugin, and the links associated with your the brands generated via the plugin.

    I have resolved one of the issues. I did a fresh install of the plugin, which seems to have fixed the visibility problem, so I can now edit the brands agin in the back-end.

    But, the problem with the brand links breaking every few hours remains.
    As mentioned, I have tried troubleshooting, and looking at any scheduled tasks that may impact the links, but can’t see anything.

    Hello Ollie,

    Something that I have not mentioned to you and maybe you have not tried, is leaving only active WooCommerce and our plugin. And if the problem persists, also try a default WordPress theme such as 2022, although I also understand that you want to use your theme.

    Have you already tried it?

    We understand your frustration and it is also difficult for us to solve it, since we do not present those errors nor do we have reports about it.
