Can New Registrations be Held For Review?

  • When someone registers for a user name and password for a blog that requires a logon can we have that held until the site Administrator reviews the registration? I would like to hold new registrations until they can be reviewed and allowed to continue or be rejected.

  • Of course, but to hold the registration until an Admin approves it will probably require a plugin such as “New User Approve“, not that I’m in anyway suggesting this particular plugin is the best. I’m sure if you do a search via your WP Dashboard>plugins, you’ll find several alternatives.
