Can login with Firefox, but not IE

  • Hi, having trouble logging in with IE. It works fine in Firefox. Here’s what I’ve done:

    Cleared the cookies and cache, tried new, fresh wp-login.php, i don’t have secure https, and sexygirl’s fix didn’t work any better. I’m using WP 1.2.2

    The one thing I haven’t done is attempt the phpmyadmin fix, but I wanted to ask first whether that makes a difference if it’s working in one browser and not another. If not, any other suggestions? Thanks!

  • Problems with internet exploder… lol umm try editing your security settings… blast im a mac user and im trying to remember how to get to that cp, but its under like internet settings or some other wonderful microsoft term meaning the same thing… anycase if you have custom settings, set them back down to medium or medium-low. thats all i can suggest. other than that, dont use internet exploder and dont encourage those that do lol

    Please define “trouble logging in with IE”. THere are a multitude of different problems (all user-related). Knowing what problem you’re having (ex: what errors are displayed?) will help us prescribe the proper solution.     It’s probably a cookie issue- double check your privacy and security settings
