Can login to admin but not access site

I am new to WordPress and have went through quite the headache in the last couple of weeks learning how to install and use WordPress. I’ve gotten the hang of it and was in the middle of updating an image slider. I clicked to view the site to see the changes, and the site will not load.

The site I’m working on is set up as a sub-page of my work’s current site. I have it hosted there because our client does not currently have hosting and this was the easiest way for me to show them the site.

Now when I go to my work’s site, the home page will not load. I can however login to the wp-admin to edit the WordPress site.

It doesn’t make sense to me that I can login to the admin, but cannot see the site. When I click to view it, it acts like its taking forever to load, but never does.

Does anyone have any idea why this would be happening? Thank you!
