    Hey,
Is it possible the list builders pop-up, fires an event according to GA resulting in 10% bounce rate? After installing SumoMe my bounce rate has dropped clearly so that it’s an reporting issue. It can be something else too! BUT is there a chance SumoMe List Builder is causing this reporting problem?

  • I also am having the same issue, with a bounce rate that went magically from 70% down to 2% after the install of Sumome. According to this post (https://www.webmechanix.com/why-your-bounce-rate-dropped-in-google-analytics) one reason for the almost zero bounce rate is that a popup (like the SumoMe Listbuilder pop-up) is considered an ‘interaction’ request by GA, thus, it will record no bounce.

So same question to our SumoMe friends, how do I fix Sumome ListBuilder such that it doesn’t count as an ‘interaction’ in GA?

This is most likely happening because people are interacting with the popup and not the popup itself. GA wouldn’t consider some div adding to the screen an interaction.
