Can links have different colours throughout themes?

  • I’m working with a portfolio theme that has several Theme Options, being one of them choosing a colour for all links.

    The thing is that I want the Blog Title link to have a different colour from the rest of the links.

    Is this possible?

  • you should be able to create a specific enough style for the blog title link so that it is not effected by the general link color.

    this is more a general css problem than a WordPress problem – possibly better suited for a css forum like https://csscreator.com/forum

    what does the theme’s developer/seller say to that question?

    I haven’t asked yet, because I’m using a Child Theme and I’m having issues when changing this particular thing, as it still goes to the parent theme, instead of the Child Theme.

    I’m sure there’s something wrong with my Child Theme…

    I had no idea about that CSS forum, so thank you! I’ll check that out!
