Yes I think I will never use the new editor (the Gutenburg with its annoying blocks). And I can assure you that 90% of the people in the wordpress community in my country doesnt like the new editor. (the new editor are easy for complete beginners, but for pro/advanced users we prefer the old/classic editor.)
The thing is, in wordpress community, there are people who are beginners (which will like the blocks features in the new editor) and already pro/advanced people (which are doing custom wordpress sites for their clients). And these pro people will never like the new editor, we like the old/classic editor where we can do more customizations.
And often in our client customizations, we need to insert code snippets. While there are already some good code snippets plugins, not a single one can pre-rendered the codes inside the editor (all are rendered after we publish the posts.). Maybe with some ajax request you can make one available for the old/classic editor. That would be awesome. For a small amount of dollars we would pay for that I think ??
