Can it be used for a custom post type instead of a regular page?

  • Hi,

    I really like the concept behind this plugin.

    Could it be used with a custom post type instead of a regular page? I’m thinking I could have a custom post type called microsites or landing pages, where I could have more than one of this domains, instead of having it with other site pages.

    Hello álvaro,

    Currently page, regular post and cartflows_step post types are explicitly supported. Unfortunately custom post types can work differently from regular post types in some respects, for instance they may have duplicate slugs. That makes it more difficult to find the correct post to show.

    I like your idea though. I will look into it and come back to you here. I am currently moving so it will probably take longer than usual.

    Hi Alvaro, after some testing the past week I have released a new version (1.5.0) which effectively removes the custom posts restrictions, which means any post type can now be used as landing page.
    However, some post types (e.g. WooCommerce product) do not function out of the box on a separate domain. This must be fixed on a per-post-type basis and is currently not handled by my plugin.
    I have added the option to send cors headers rather than reroute the ajax request on the landing pages that may help fixing issues.
