Can I ‘wrap’ spoiler shortcode around existing content?

    Hi, I have tried adding
at the beginning of existing content and
at the end. I see there is a box for adding the hidden content but the already existing content I wish to hide is a long list already formatted in rows and columns which I don’t really want to lose the structure of.

Is this possible? It is the ‘Countryside Quick Links’ I wish to have as the hidden content on the page I need help with.

Any input would be much appreciated, thank you!

    Hi Matt,

I see you’re using Visual Composer. I haven’t tested it myself, but according to this article, in VC opening and closing shortcodes work properly within individual elements but they do not work across elements.

That means you can not wrap your blocks with opening and closing spoiler tags.
