Please forgive me if my question seems obvious. I have read lots but not found the answer.

Currently I run a small (50 pages) but successful website created in iweb. My computer needs replacing but Apple have stopped supporting iweb. I am looking for a new website building and maintaining application. HOWEVER, I really need one that I can use to update or work on my site from ANY computer (that has WordPress on it, of course). The reason for that is because I do not want to be left in the position where I have to rebuild my site from scratch if my main computer goes down, etc. I do know about back-ups but I just want to work on my site across a variety of computers well into the future.

Will WordPress be for me? Thanks, in advance, for replies.

A WordPress site is completely web-based, so you can work on it from any computer.

(that has WordPress on it, of course).

That is not needed. WordPress lives on the remote web server – not on any local computer.

That’s a great answer for me because, at the moment, with iweb, I can only work on it through the application on my home computer (that needs replacing very soon). WordPress has been recommended by a friend and, with your answer, I’m confident that I’ve got an application that will make my website life secure (and, hopefully, easier). Thank you, esmi.

No problem. Glad I could help ??
