• Hello,

I haven’t used WP yet, but I really like the fresh look and all the positive reviews I read about it, and wanna try. But I have a domain which I bought from blogger/google. So I wonder if this can work out with WP and meet the server/host criteries?

    I appriciate your help.

    Thanks, Sirin

  • Assuming I understand you to say that you bought a domain name from Google for your Blogger blog, that still leaves you to buy some web hosting elsewhere. Or you could just use wordpress.com, which is like Blogger: you get a free place to run your WordPress blog, but you can’t do as much as you can when you install WordPress yourself (from this site, www.remarpro.com) on your own web hosting.

Bottom line: sounds like wordpress.com is where you want to be.

    hey Sirinkoca
I believe all you have now is a blog on BlogSpot and custom domain bought from Google.
You need to buy a hosting like Hostgator, Dreamhost or Bluehost and need to install WordPress on it.

You also need to install WordPress on your server, change the NS of your domain to point to your hosting and also import your posts from BlogSpot to WordPress.
Here are some guide from Internet which might be useful:
