Can I Use Woocomerce and StoreFront In Selling Digital Products

    Hi,

    I am planning to create mobile app products(Android App & iOS App) using woocommerce which I want to sell. I also want to use default Storefront theme of Woocommerce in which I will do modification based on our App requirement.

    So can I do that since woocomerce and Storefront are open source. I will give proper credit to let people know we have used open source woocommerce.

    I also see lots of people already selling themes and digital products using woocomerce. You can find such products available on Themeforest and Codecanyon.

    I did lot of search but couldn’t find license page of Woocomerce. Does that mean we’re free to use it in our products?

    WooCommerce allows you to sell digital product, physical products and a mix of both.

    Both WooCommerce and the Storefront theme are free and open source and you can use them in any way you see fit as long as your derivative works also maintain the GPL license and the proper attributions.

    You’re free to make and sell themes and plugins that alter or enhance the way that WooCommerce behaves. If you do so, please pay attention to the information in the WooCommerce Style Guide especially as it concerns naming your products and using the WooCommerce trademark.
