Support for the WordPress Media Library and NextGEN Gallery allows NGFB to create correct image sizes from their IDs. If you use another gallery plugin, and you have a page full of thumbnails from this gallery (for example), NGFB will not be able to determine the URL for the larger images and will probably reject those thumbnails as being too small.

Which gallery plugin are you using?

I’m using Photocrati. Will it work with that? If not, it appears that there is a NextGen option as well, but that adds another layer of complexity. Thanks!

If Photocrati uses the WordPress Media Library and its filters, then it should be fine — NGFB will be able to detect images by their image ID in the WordPress Media Library.

Create a gallery page and see what NGFB does with it. ??
