Can I use this plugin for a menu that is not in the theme location?

    I have some menus designed through Toolset Layouts and I would like to apply your plugin to one of the menu items. I have the menu structure built like a typical menu through WordPress, however it is not linked to a theme location. Is there a way to turn off this requirement? Thanks so much for your help!
