Can I use this plugin, and if so how ?

    I want a sidebar menu that:

    1) Is made up by predefined custom menus in the WordPress menu-editor so that I can have different menus for different parts of the site

    2) Only shows the subpages that is one level under the page (parent page, subpage, etc.) that is viewed/clicked on

    3) Shows the subpages by expanding the menu, instead of a vertical dropdown menu, so that it is possible for the students to see where I am on the site all the time in the classroom

    Can I use this plugin for that, and if so how ?

    Or can anyone recommend a plugin for that ?

    Hello Mey007,

    This plugin uses the page hierarchy to generate the sidebar menus and is in no way related to the WordPress Custom Menus.

    Unfortunately, there is no simple way to make this plugin work in the desired way.

    I just wanted to stop in to let you know that version 3.3.0 of Advanced Sidebar Menu PRO has now been released which supports using a Custom Navigation Menu from Appearance -> Menus.
