Can I use “tag_description” when creating a new Post?

    Is there a way to add descriptions to Post Tags directly on the “New Post” page?

    Starting in WordPress 2.8 there is the “tag_description” which adds a description to Post Tags. However it seems I need to go to each Tag afterwards and manually edit them to add a description. It would be nice to be able to directly add a description to each Post tag as I create a new Post.

  • I haven’t found there to be a way to do this. I would suggest using the Rich Text Tag plugin though for a WYSIWYG editor of tag descriptions.
