Can I use non-latin characters as focus keyword?

    Hello,
    I am using WordPress SEO by Yoast plugin on a Multi-site.
    There is an English site. There are also two more sites – Amharic and Tigrigna (two Ethiopian languages with Ethiopic characters).

    I was wondering if I can use Amharic/Tigrigna words as focus keywords.

    My worry is that: If I use English focus keywords for all the three sub-sites, the three sites will share a lot of similar focus keywords.

    So, I wanted to know how smoothly the plugin works with non-Lain, esp. Ethiopic characters and what possible limitations there are.
