Can I use my account while importing?

Hi, I am importing my old wordpress.com blog to www.remarpro.com and I pressed submit and ever since then the wheel is spinning. There are no instructions about what I should do next – nothing like: feel free to use your account while we upload, or: please don’t use your account while we upload.

Can I work on my website? I want to install and set up the Responsive theme–can I do that while importing my old blog content?
