Can I use gallery template for album?

Hi, my gallery thumbs show exactly how I want as default, simple two rows of six the correct thumb size.
I’ve tried both album templates but the thumbs show really small and the border smaller than the thumbs. I just want the ablum to be the same as the gallery, 2×6, how can I use the gallery template for the album?
