can I use CDN (AWS S3/Cloudfront) to reduce inodes?

Hi!

I have a website hosted at hostpapa and have maxed out the inodes (450k). Since it’s a very picture heavy blog and WordPress together with my theme creates 13 files for every image I upload, there is no feasible way of keeping the site slim enough to be sustainable this way. Doing some research I found out about CDN. Cloudfront seems very interesting to me but I’m not quite sure if it actually does what I would like it to.
I feel like this is a very dumb question to ask but still:
Can I delete everything from my wp-content/uploads after setting up Cloudfront and copying all the pictures into a S3 bucket? I read in the documentation that in order to “go back” from cloudfront I would only have to deactivate one setting in the plugin and then the pictures would be loaded from my server again. But that would require me to have them there. I know that with Jetpack e.g. I can not delete the files on my server.
Ideally I would like to find something where every new picture I upload (including all the resized versions) when creating a new post is directly sent into my S3 bucket and not even stored on my server to begin with and I can delete all the old pictures after moving them there.
Can I achieve this with Cloudfront and the Amazon AWS CDN plugin?
