Can I use BuddyPress to place specific downloadable files on user profiles?

    Firstly, let me apologise if my question comes across as a bit vague as I’m trying my best to articulate it.

    Basically I have a client who wishes to have a website whereby users will upload an audio file and then their company will transcribe it to a text file format and then place the file on the users profile so they can download it.

    Is this achievable with WordPress and BuddyPress? I just want to “pimp out” the user profile area so the WP admin can place particular files on their profile that only that user can download exclusively.
