    Hi there,

I’ve installed ColorMag free theme on my localhost. I imported one demo to play with the theme and then I decided to create a customized front page using Elementor and adding my own widgets.

The customized page runs smoothly. However, the problems arise when I try to set it as my front page. I’m doing this from Appearance > Customize > Homepage settings. Once there, I’m choosing my customized page as static Front page.

However, when I do that, the preview is reloaded but instead of showing my customized page, it still shows the demo page. Furthermore, if I go back to Pages > MyCustomizedPage, then I cannot edit it with Elementor because it throws this error: “Sorry, the content area was not found in your page. You must call the_content function in the current template, in order for Elementor to work on this page.”

Googling that error I found that Elementor can throw it because the page was not created using Elementor. So it seems that MyCustomizedPage was somehow override after choosing it as static home page…

    Any ideas?

    Thanks in advance,
    Mario.
