Can I use a single page to display documents

  • Instead of having a separate page for each document to be displayed, I’d like to be able to REFER to a document and have it displayed on a common page. So the document block would display using a variable. The variable would simply be the document url from the media library. For instance, the variable $document_url would use that variable data to display the document.

  • As a variant you can try make a shortcode for display yor variable and put this shortcode to single.php isn’t it?
