Can i use 2 web story plugins together in wordpress?

    I was using google web story plugin. All stories were ranking. But because of very basic templates designs etc. viewers quits the story after viewing 2-3 pages only. So i decided to use makestories plugin bec it has very rich & beautiful templates.
    But after publishing about 20 web-stories with makestories plugin, I realized that they are not ranking properly despite of having better visuals. So i thing SEO optimisation is may be better in google web stories.
    So one of my friend asked me to do not keep 2 web story plugins. bec it may effect rankings. But i want to clear that different web stories were published on both plugins. I don’t used same content. Even both are added into sitemaps. Here i want to ask experts that can i use both plugins together to publish web stories.
    So i can properly test which is performing much better. Or there is any negative effect on SEO if i use both plugins

  • Hello @avtarsinghc7 thanks for your question. Generally we would recommend always using one of the stories plugins however you can use both if you wish to do so.

    Using both should not have an impact on your SEO but we are not SEO experts here so can’t give you any guarantees on that. In terms of SEO, Google does not “prioritize” stories from its own plugin, so any difference in SEO would not just be because you are using the Web Stories plugin instead of Make Stories.
