I’ve added the content restriction plugin and set it to “anyone with an account” will have access to restricted pages.
The problem is that the default WordPress registration page is still available, so instead of going through the plugin’s registration process, which needs to approve new members via admin approval, people can get instant access if they use the default WordPress registration page.

I considered restricting the content to specific/higher user roles, but that would mean they would get some sort of editing capabilities, which is definitely not something we’d want.

Is there a way to restrict or redirect the default WordPress registration page to the plugin’s registration page? I’ve set a 301 redirect to the registration page, but that doesn’t seem to accept the “?action=register”…

    Your help is appreciated!

    Hi @mpoppen,

    Thank you for writing in,

Could you please check this documentation link https://docs.wpeverest.com/user-registration/docs/how-to-hide-the-wordpress-default-login-page-and-use-user-registration-login-page and enable the prevent core login option. It will hide the default login and the registration form for your all users and redirect to the user registration my account page.

    Regards!

    Hello,
sorry Enable the option to prevent the core login not working properly or well!?

Spam users can still register and log in, although the registration has to be approved by the admin first. So there is still a registration possibility somewhere in WordPress that is not redirected by !?

    I use:

    In “user-registration-settings” >
    “General Option” >
    “User login option”

    “Admin approval after registration” <——
This option lets you choose login option after user registration.

    and

    In “add-new-registration&edit-registration=xx”
    Form Setting >
    General Settings >
    User login option >

    “Admin approval after registration” <——-
This option lets you choose login option after user registration.

I still have registrations that change your password immediately after registration !?

    thank you and stay healthy
