Can I switch themes and not lose changes? (child)

  • I just updated my WP to 5.6
    I am still running a 2011-child theme (minor edits by me)

    I would like to see what the new themes look like. If I like it, then I will make my child edits in the new theme.

    If I switched it to 2020 or 2021, can I switch it back to 2011-child, without losing my edits?
