You need to change port 9090 to port 80, as far as I know.

Correct, WordPress doesn’t like not being on anything other than port 80.

Once again. WordPress DOES NOT like any port OTHER than Port 80.

8080 != 80 you see.

You can trick your computer into thinking domain.loc is a real domain, and thus you should be able to avoid the issue.

Hey guys!
It took a long time for me to figure out what the article was talking about (since I am not a computer person..), but I think I finally got the fake domains in the “hosts” file and understood how it works.
I am still trying to figure out how to change the port 8080 -> 80. I will do more readings, but at the same time, would anyone tell how to do it? Bitnami does not like the port number other than 8080 so that I cannot start apache. I hope this makes sense to you to know where I am stuck.
