Can I simplify Booking Calendar?

    Hi,

    My clients run a glamping site https://www.gardenyurt.co.uk – I’m in the process of moving them over to WordPress and want to use a calendar/booking system. However, they don’t want people to be able to book themselves in but they would rather take the booking over the phone and then update the calendar themselves. Can it be possible to just have the calendar with the busy dates and no email/booking system (apart from on the back end)?

    Hello.
    Yes, its possible.
    In the page(s) at the front-end side of your website, you can insert only “availability calendar” (not the booking form) to show only availability for your website visitors.

    And administrator can make the bookings in admin panel at the Booking > Add booking page.

    Thanks, I can’t work out how to do it? I’m using the free plugin. To get what I need would I need to buy the premium?

    Hello.
    Its also possible to show this availability calendar in the Booking Calendar free version.

    Just open the page, where you inserted booking form before, and reinsert shortcode. You have to have this shortcode in the page:
    [bookingcalendar type=1 nummonths=1]

    P.S. Please note, if you activated the booking calendar widget, you need to deactivate widget. Because at the one “visible” page possible to show only one calendar or booking form.
