Can I Show POST Categories ONLY On POSTS and Not On PAGES?

    Is it possible to show the POST categories ONLY on POST pages and NOT on the home page or the PAGES section of wordpress?

    We want the site to be a predominately PAGES-based static site.

    We want the blog POSTS to be a smaller part of the site (less prominent).

    Hence, we want to show the Categories for the POSTS only on other post pages.

    (Would prefer if this was doable in Admin as opposed to having to re-write the template code).

  • you can archive that if your theme supports separate sidebars for pages and posts which you can control under widgets.

    so basically, I need to look for a them that offers separate sidebars depending upon which page the visitor is on.

    Would anyone by chance have a few suggestions for a more busiiness-oriented theme that allows for different sidebars?

    I think genesis does this, but would prefer not to spend the $80 if I don’t have to <smile>
