Can I show a list of articles from a particular author or user?

    Yep.

    What I believe is that your theme has the main loop coded in the template.
    Easy is then just a something that runs along.
    So if you link the user to the authors page (via Easy>VIEW> Author (brick), or what ever) The WordPress shows you the authors archive automatically. For that matter the basic loop in the index.php is really all you need. If the template has the author.php, than you can play even more..

    What is basically necessary is just link to that archive, and WordPress will do do rest.

    I have read your question again.
    If you want to list articles made by this or that author along the main loop…Nope, the Easy has no such function yet.
    If I have some spare time I can add it there.

    This would be very useful to me. I have a Election Methods section and would like to highlight a particular author I have in the sidebar. Thanks again for the help.

    Finally there was a bit of time. Download Version 0.9.4.5 the function (Control brick “By author”) is there.
