Can I set a slide’s background image to be fixed?

This option would be available in the Pro version of our slider, where we have a Background image option for the entire slider:

One more question… I have a slider that has the first slide set to standard / static, and the following slides are dynamic. Can I set JUST the dynamic slides to a use a shared fixed background image (excluding the first static slide)?

Or will I need to create multiple sliders (one standard / static) and other dynamic? And can they follow on and play one after the other?

If you set this Background image for the entire slider:

then for the standard slide you can still pick a background image:

because the way this works is, that the slider’s background image is on the very bottom, then your slide’s background image would be on top of it, so if you have a slide background image, you won’t see the slider’s background, while if you don’t have one, you will see it.

Out of curiosity… if I need the standard slide to be transparent, is there a way of separating the slider into two sliders? The first being the standard, and the second being the dynamic slides? Would I be able to have them play one after the other, and loop?

We are handling these are slides, not sliders. So you cannot combine two sliders, but you can have one standard slide and one dynamic slide (which actually creates multiple slides). These would play one after the other.

I am new to WordPress. My background of my site slides up and down, I only want everything in front of the background to move but the background image to stay stationary.
How do I change the settings so this will happen? Please keep in mind I am new to all of this so the more laymans terms the better.

I’m sorry, but this option is only available in the Pro version of our slider. In there we have a “slide background parallax” setting, which could create this effect for the background:

but it has its limitations:

If you would only want to have one background image for the entire slider, so on the slides you can have any contents, but the background would always stay, that could have this effect without limitations. At the Simple slider type’s settings:

you could choose a background image and turn on “Fixed” for this.
