Hi, I’m extremely impressed with this plugin, especially since it allows changing Title as well as Name, as my images are all like this: 745198FC-DFA5-47C1-BEE2-9B592BCC9651.

Is is possible to serialize a group of images, sort of like Trees-001, Trees-002, Trees-003, so the name is entered in the first selected image, then continues renaming the rest of the selected images.

If not, can you you consider adding it into a future update, possibly offering it as a paid add-on?

Thank you for developing this fantastic plugin.

    Hi @todindiana,
titles serialization is not supported, but this is a great idea!

I’ll start working on it as soon as possible, I’ll let you know when the update will be available.

    Thank you for your suggestion.

    Hi @crossi72

Thanks for letting me know. If you need a beta tester, I’d be happy to check it out. I use an iPad Air as my primary device, so that might help your testing.

    Stay safe and healthy!

    Hi @todindiana,
I just released version 3.0.0 that add support for filename serialization.

To serialize filenames enclose the variable parts between { and }, this will cause Phoenix Media Rename to generate a sequence of filenames.

The variable part has to be an integer number, but can start with 0 (i.e. 0023).

Let me know if this is what you was looking for and if you have some improvement to suggest.

    Hey @crossi72

Thank you for including that feature. I’m on the road at the moment but will download and install v 3.0 winthin a couple days (sooner if weather permits!) and let you know how it goes.

    Hi @crossi72

I installed the update a while ago and am pleased to report that the serialization works perfectly! I am really happy with this new feature. Thank you for taking the time to implement it.
