So at the moment I’m afraid there is no direct way to link CartBounty with WhatsApp. However we know that if you connect CartBounty with ActiveCampaign, ActiveCampaign then allows you to connect with WhatsApp: https://www.activecampaign.com/apps/whatsapp-integration

We will look more into WhatsApp API and see if in the future we could possibly add direct integration with WhatsApp, but since we have a very long list of various features to add and we are working in an Agile manner, can’t really promise when direct integration could be introduced.

Ok, so maybe I was not clear enough about the integration process and the option at the moment that would allow you to send abandoned cart reminders to WhatsApp users:

1. Sign up for ActiveCampaign
2. Integrate CartBounty with ActiveCampaign
3. Link ActiveCampaign with WhatsApp via ActiveCampaign WhatsApp integration module
4. Setup automation inside ActiveCampaign which sends abandoned cart messages to WhatsApp users in case if the user has provided phone number

Hope this better explains the process that is available at the moment.

As much as we would like to add this feature, we have a very long list of various cool in useful features waiting in the backlog that we would be happy to add immediately, but our resources are limited and we try to do our best in improving our product as well as supporting it.

We are working in an agile manner which means we are deciding on what to include in the next version release basing on what we see brings the most value to our users depending from what we have learned so far and from what is delivered in the previous version that is why I’m afraid I can’t give you any promises as our team is deciding on what should be included in the next release right after last product version is out and at the moment we are already working on a new version and it does not look like it will include webhook feature as of yet.

What I can say – that it will be added, but can’t tell you when exactly. But once it will be available, you will be notified here, that I can promise.

I have good news! ?? We have released an update a few days ago and it includes webhook feature allowing you to connect with 3rd party apps like Integromat, Zapier etc.
