Can i reupload my site?

    Hello all,

    Hope you’re all good.

    I wish to change my web server from 1&1 to Bluehost.

    I (stupidly) downloaded my WordPress website using FTP to my computer without using a WPmigration tool.

    Is it possible for me to now re-upload the wordpress site to the new host?

    It’s proving much more complicated than I expected.

    Any help would be greatly appreciated.

    Hey Jojuk,

    i’m guessing you downloaded your website directory wich holds your theme and wordpress install? and when you reupload that to the new server you’re missing al the pages and other stuff. Or are you not able to upload at al?

    if the first is what is happening(no pages etc.) you should ask 1&1 if they can make a dump of your data base(dont know if you can access your admin pannel your self). then just relink the database and it should work.
