    Hi

I’m very new to WP and this plugin, so please bear with me and this very basic question..

When I clone a page that I want to make changes to, should I be editing the original or the cloned version?

I have been editing the clone hoping thee would be a ‘replace’ feature. There isn’t, right? That leads me to think best practice is to edit the original and consider the clone a backup. Otherwise I have to manually change permalinks on the two pages and change backlinks from other pages or am I missing something?

Please not I’ve been using a staging site for this.

I’m sorry if this question is to basic or in the wrong place but so far I’ve come up handed in my search for an answer.

    Hi @andyohhh,
sorry for the delay in answering…

You are right, there is no “replace” feature as of today, but stay tuned for future updates…
In your use case it looks that the best choice is the one you are saying: keep the copy as a backup and change the original so you don’t have to update the references to it site-wide.

    I hope this helps.
