Can I remove the A-Z list?

I love this plugin, and particularly love the fact you gave links to some sites that use it – that was really useful, thank you!

I’m creating a directory of people who offer consultations, so quite similar to your “Alabama Orthopaedic” example. People are going to search on things like city, specialty and so on – and probably not likely to search for a particular name, as they won’t know who the practitioners are. Is it possible to hide the A-Z part of the plugin on the screen? I ask this, because most people like to display their names as “John Smith”, rather than “Smith, John”, but in that case you won’t find John Smith by clicking on S, only by clicking on J. I note the Alabama site does get round this by putting the surname first, but ideally I’d like not even to have that A-Z function showing. People could still, of course, put “Smith” in the search box to find a specific person.

Is that possible?
