Can i remove comments option and other options ??

Hello..I have hosted the wordpress blog on my website.(on my hosting server).I want it that i can post things and want to remove the option of comments on that page.is it possible? if so , how it is? and other thing , that i want that all the things on the front page disappear , like catagories , archives , and everything ???
In simple words is it possible that i can make it as a blank page ? and can just add my things ? i hope you can understand my point.kindly guide me.
